What are Y-Guides & Y-Princesses?

Y-Guide & Y-Princess Programs aim to strengthen the bond between fathers and their children through activities that allow them to spend quality time together. Based on strong traditions of the Native American Culture including: dignity, patience, endurance, spirituality, concern for the Earth and family values, the Y-Guide and Y-Princess Programs are tools that will help build memories that will last a lifetime.

Circle Activities

Circles are made up of 10-15 dads and their children who schedule monthly meetings and other activities to be done as a circle. Monthly circle meetings usually take place in the home of one of the circle’s members, and includes ceremonies, songs, games, crafts, and refreshments. In addition to circle’s activities and meetings, Federation events will be scheduled throughout the year. These events include:

Fall and Spring Campouts
Family Skate Night
Father / Daughter Valentine’s Dance
Kite Day
Christmas & Parade
Professional Sporting Events
And several other events...
